If you happened to catch the Academy Awards, chances are that you were dazzled by the number of diamonds displayed by the attendees. One of the most striking stars at the showing was Jennifer Garner.
The beautiful confection of diamond and metal she wore was actually a 1928 Art Deco piece from Van Cleef & Arples, weighing in at a staggering 61carats.
There were a number of other stars wearing stunning jewelry, but this piece seemed to singularly stand out in the crowd of posh celebrities crowding the red carpet on the way inside.
