Verne Troyer, or more widely known as “Mini Me” in Austin Powers, went to the hospital today for experiencing “flu-like symptoms” while shooting The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (Heath Ledger’s last movie) in Burnaby, British Columbia.
US Magazine’s source adds,
"He’s been working really hard on the film. They just wanted to hydrate him."
Back in ‘06, Troyer checked into rehab for an alcohol abuse problem and his rep has denied that his hospitalization today is for a drug-related problem.
The rep says,
"Verne is fine and doing well and is back to work."
